Transportation tycoon game Cities in Motion is now available. Developed by Colossal Order and published by Paradox Interactive, Cities in Motion tasks you with building and managing your own transportation empire on land, sea, and air across four major European cities (Vienna, Helsinki, Berlin and Amsterdam).
Cities in Motion blends elements of Sim City-style play but focuses on building and managing mass transit systems. In addition to designing and constructing vehicle routes you must manage virtually every aspect of your transportation business through 100 years of development (1920-2020).
Cities in Motion provides more than 30 different vehicles to play with (including busses, trams, helicopters, and ferries) in 12 different scenarios as well as a sandbox mode. A map editor is also included.
Check out our Cities in Motion preview (a full review will be along shortly), and while you’re at it you might check out previews from virtually every game shown at Paradox Con 2011, including Pirates of Black Cove, Sword of the Stars 2, Crusader Kings II, and more.
Cities in Motion is available now for PC at major digital download distributors for $19.99. (Check it out at Gamersgate and Steam.)
